PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
* Provide a Facilities Management service consistent with Global SAP GFM standards
* Deliver and develop a strong and robust operational business support model
* Emphasis to be placed on introducing a strategic approach to ongoing and planned GFM services in a multi-location environment
* Lead the local Facilities team including outsourced support services
* Liaise closely with the Mena management team and local Country management team to develop a trusted partner model of operation
* Help Subregion Head to develop and manage the GFM capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) budgets for all Mena region countries - UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar.
* Work closely with Finance colleagues on GFM forecasting and reporting
* Work closely with GPO colleagues on initiatives to reduce costs whilst maintaining high service levels
* Work closely with GPO colleagues in the negotiation of any GFM contracts, as well as monitoring, auditing and reporting on the performance of existing contracts

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Ensure all GFM procurement is completed according to Group purchasing policy
* Ensure all property management services are appropriately managed (maintenance of building, mechanical and electrical systems, cleaning service and supplies)
* Ensure that common Facilities/IT systems work appropriately to support all lines of business (faxes, printers, photocopiers, meeting room set-up including projectors)
* Move Management and Ad-hoc building projects
* Manage Security and the Access Control systems for the region
* Manage the reception and related services for all locations
* Manage the catering operations for all locations
* Support the management of the Facilities involvement in Business Continuity and Crisis Management for all locations
* Promote GFM through the effective use of the corporate portal and general communications
* Induct new employees into the Facilities environment and make them aware of their responsibilities and obligations
* Work with the sustainability team on green initiatives and projects. Identify opportunities for implementing green and sustainable practices and progress implementation of approved schemes
* Promotion and development of GFM fault reporting system in conjunction with IT, improve statistical reporting and further develop SLAs and KPIs
* Initially 6 months contract for C-User role

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Experience of managing building services is a pre-requisite for this role
